In Remembrance
Marjorie Cleverley
She was born April 22, 1928, in Rigby, Idaho, to Ellis H. and Lida Perry Call. She grew up in Rigby and graduated from high school there in 1946.
Marjorie met her eternal sweetheart while still in high school. Grant and Marjorie were married in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on Nov. 3, 1948. Marjorie and Grant served faithfully in many church callings and together they served two missions, one at the Idaho Falls Family History Center and the Baton Rouge Louisiana Mission.
Her hobbies included quilting and music. Marjorie played a variety of instruments, piano, accordion, violin, cello, bass fiddle and organ. All of the grandkids and great-grandkids received a beautiful handmade quilt for weddings and births.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grant; and a brother, Dean.
She is survived by her children, Vicki Chapman, Marcia (Pat) Mais, Rodney (Nancy) Cleverley, Diane (Fred) Prince, Steven (Denise) Cleverley, Dawna (Wade) Peterson, Annette (Richard) West and Marlene (Larry) Hilton; 31 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; siblings, LaRae Stoker, E.H. (Eva Jean) Call and Dennis (Connie) Call; and extended family members, including sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at noon Saturday, March 6, at the Ammon LDS 2nd Ward, 1100 Tiebreaker. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at Wood Funeral Home, 963 S. Ammon Road, and from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Interment will be in Rigby-Pioneer Cemetery.
